Spooky! This Woman is Haunted by an Idealized Version of Herself

For the last 15 years, Sarah Watler reports being haunted by an idealized version of herself.

“She’s just like me, except hotter and a better person.”

“The first time I saw her, I was about 16 years old. I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom when the lights started to flicker. Suddenly, out of nowhere, appeared a woman who looked exactly like me— except with a smaller waist, tighter ass, and large, perky breasts. She was taking a mirror selfie, and she looked fucking good. I think her top was from Brandy Melville.”

“At one point, she puckered her bigger-than-mine, beautiful lips, struck the perfect pose, and a chill ran up my spine— a chill that confirmed I am not enough!”

The creepiness does not stop there. Apparently, Sarah’s specter is not only really hot, she’s an activist too.

“Just the other day, I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of the bathroom faucet turning on, then off, then on, then off again. I ran into the bathroom to see what was going on, and there she was— filling bottle after bottle with sink water. She explained that she was planning to bring all of them to the city of Flint, Michigan, which still doesn’t have clean water.”

Yikes! Could things get any spookier?

Sarah was very freaked out, but also inspired. “I asked her how she was planning to travel to Flint, thinking this might be the chance to live up to my ideals and offer her a ride. But she told me my boyfriend had already offered her a ride in his car, and that there would be no room left between them and all the bottles.
