I was a motorbike fanatic, then my children came along,
I found I couldn’t take them all out for a ride.
Desperate times, desperate measures, what did I do?
I stuck a potting shed onto the side.
Add two tents, six sleeping bags, et cetera,
you can’t deny that there’s a lot to lift.
The first time I piled it all into the sidecar,
I could not get the feckin’ thing to shift.
I asked a fellow biker what he felt about
a bike with a sidecar on it’s side.
“The ensemble now handles like a house brick,
and one is robbed of any street cred.” he replied.
