How a dog barks,
or cats see in the dark,

or why pollywogs wiggle 
and chimpanzees giggle,

at what chickens cluck, 
or why QUACK! goes a duck,

or how a frog croaks, 
or for what bleats the goat,

or what makes rabbits hop,
or why pigs like slop,

or why horses neigh,
I couldn’t possibly say;

Unlike lions, who roar, 
I just speak. What a bore.
