The price of almost everything was up. Consequently, Cheryl cut back on spending. She was on the phone with Felice…
– – I agree, Felice. Have you seen the food prices?
– – You mean tomatoes or onions? Or chicken?
– – Exactly.
– – So, what’ve you been doing, Cheryl?
– – Well, it’s now Chef Boyardee for dinner.
– – You mean, you’re not making your own chicken cacciatore, as you used to?
– – From my mother’s recipe?
– – That’s the one I liked.
– – No, no more homemade dinners. But what’s worse, the kids and Charlie seem to like Chef Boyardee more.
– – Kids and men, go figure.
– – And Sam, the dog, too…
